Happy Wednesday guys!
I know that a lot of people are having exams this week and next week so that means a whole bunch of all nighters and so. much. studying. I loveeee listening to music while I study so I thought that I would share my most resent study playlist :)
And to listen to this playlist you need to get spotify, which I absolutely recommend completely. It is in my opinion the best platform for listening to music.
I hope all of ya’ll have a fabulous night :)

Perfume!
If you know me, if you frequent my personal tumblr, or if you read a lot of my posts on tcgs you know I love two things beauty and music. So to keep along with this them we will be talking about beauty :)
I love love love perfume. Like I have a drawer in my makeup desk for just my perfumes.
So here are a list of my absolute favorites!
Daisy by Marc Jacobs - This is my most recent perfume purchase and I absolutely love it! It is just so fresh and feminine. It also has a wonderful staying power that lasts throughout the day.
Chanel No 5 – This is just a classic. I bought it originally for my mother on Mother’s day and I have to steal some from her every once and a while. It has such and elegant and sophisticated smell that you can’t help but feel fabulous when you wear it.
Chance Eau-Fraiche by Chanel – This is a more youthful Chanel fragrance in my opinion. It is a delightful sent that has a bit of unexpectedness to it and leaves you feeling very fresh.
Princess by Vera Wang – I have had a bottle of this perfume since I was a freshman in high school. Yes I love it that much. It is my go to sent when I have no idea what I want to wear. This is one of those perfumes, for me at least, that you will always have because it is just a beautiful thing to wear.
Chloe by Chloe – Chloe is such a smooth and easy to wear sent. It is such a timeless perfume that people will always ask you what you are wearing because you just smell so good.
Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana – This is possibly the easiest perfume to wear. It is such a hard scent to describe but it is very unique and it is almost guaranteed that you will love it.
Ps. I just wanted to thank all of you guys for following us on this blog. It really means a lot to me as well as the other girls and I just wanted to talk the time to thank you guys for all of your support and for following us.
Also I want you guys to keep Sue Ann (overdressedtoimpress) in your thoughts, her family is going through a rough time so like I said if you could please do keep her in your thoughts and maybe send her an uplifting message.
Thank all of you again!
Hope you have had a fabulous Wednesday!

YouTube!
Happy Wednesday guys, I hope all of you are doing well! I don’t know about ya’ll but it has definitely hit that crunch time at school where teacher assign all possible assignments before finals hit.
So, with that said, I thought a good topic for today would be my favorite YouTube channels are. I often watch YouTube videos in between working on assignments because it is a quick way to decompress from the previous assignment before working on a new one. So here we go!
Amarixe – She is a beauty channel (come to think of it, all of these but one are beauty channels!)She is just really refreshing and honest.
AModelRecommends – This channel is run by an actual model named Ruth Crilly and she is absolutely fabulous. She uses mostly high end products but is extremely honest and sweet.
Beautycrush – We probably have like polar opposite styles but I absolutely love her videos. She is so honest, down to earth, and really knows her stuff. Plus she is absolutely hilarious.
Essiebutton – This is my newest addition to my YouTube addiction. She reminds me soooo much of Grace from DailyGrace and even looks like her to me. But she is super quirky and you cannot help but love her.
FleurDeForce – This is one of those beauty Gurus that everyone knows about, but for a good reason! She is absolutely brilliant. She knows her stuff through and through and will tell you all of the details about the product.
Icallitambrosia – She is an absolute riot. I love her. Like I want her in my life. She is beyond brutally honest on all things and it’s quite refreshing. She does so many different types of videos ranging from rants to hauls to music covers to makeup tutorials to reviews. She also has a really awesome tumblr!
Missglamorazzi – Ingrid started my YouTube addiction and led me to find other Youtubers like Amarixe and FleurDeForce. She is just like the girl next door that everybody wants to be friends with. She does wonderful and unique videos and her vlog channel is super cool also!
Sarahbelle93x – A lot of you may have heard about this one! She is absolutely hilarious and her videos are great! She is wonderfully preppy and is a style genus. You probably know her tumblr too!
Vlogbrothers – Last but certainly not least we have the vlogbrothers, my only non beauty channel! It is run by two brothers John (author of Looking for Alaska, Abundance of Katherines, The Fault in Our Stars, and more) and Hank Green. This is their way of communication between seeing each other in person and they are geniuses (literally). They are so entertaining and nerdy you can’t help but watch!
I hope you have an excellent week and I will talk to you guys later!

Long hair…. We do care!
Hi guys! I hope all of you have had a fabulous Wednesday.
I have been growing my hair out for probably about a year now and so I wanted to give all of you lovelies tips that I have come up with and/or acquired through the process :)
The ends of your hair are the oldest. This means that they have been there with you through all of your straight hair days and forgetting to put in heat protectant in. Due to this they are the most damaged and the only way to stop the damage from spreading is to get the ends cut.
Don’t pull up your hair often. Hair ties cause stress on the roots of your hair and can break the strands.
Cut out all heating protects aka bye bye hair straighteners, curling irons, and hair dryers.
With that said I know that is nearly impossible to do. So…. HEAT PROTECTANT IS YOUR BEST FRIEND. ( side note: I use CHI 44 Iron Guard like it is going out of style.)
Eat healthy and take a daily multivitamin. If it is good for your body, it’s good for your hair.
Just say no to dyes, perms, saltwater, and chlorine. And if you do come in contact with these, condition often and if you do dye your hair get products for treating colored hair.
Use a wide tooth on your hair when it is wet to get tangles out, and after hair is dry only use a bristle brush if your hair needs brushing.
Wash your hair less. This does not mean stop washing your hair period ladies. But cut back on it a bit. (side note: if you can stand it cold water is fabulous for your hair)
Embrace dry shampoo with all you have. Fun fact about dry shampoo, if you have very fine hair, use your dry shampoo after you have washed your hair and it is dry and it will make your hair thicker and have more volume. (side note: Suave professional dry shampoo spray is geniusness in a bottle.)

Anybody who knows me loves that I love music. If you get me on the topic of music and musicians I could talk for hours on end. One of my favorite things to do, for myself or for my friends, is make playlists. I love introducing people to songs that I love and songs that they may not have heard before. Unhealthy snacking!
Stress eating. Everybody knows what this is. Most everybody does this. And guess who found themself doing this the other day? That would be me. It is never a good thing to find yourself doing.
If you are at all like me at all, you like to munch on things while you work. I was starting to munch on chips and chocolate and all those wonderful foods that are really horrible for you.
So I have compiled three sections (things not to eat, things to eat, and a tip).
Snack away:
One apple (cut it up so it will feel like you are eating more), half a cup of frozen orange juice (makes it slushie like), ½ a cup of sliced carrots, 1 stalk of raw celery dipped in peanut butter, and a cup of frozen yogurt.
All of these foods are healthy and give you the appropriate amounts of sugar and/or protein to give the strength and energy to get through whatever you are doing!
Throw it away:
Chips, cookies, muffins, ice cream, danishes, scones, and candy.
These foods will give you a burst of energy but this energy is short lived and once it is gone you will completely crash. Plus excessive amounts calories + carbs = excessive amounts of pounds, which we don’t want!
Tip time:
What I do when I realize that I am snaking heavily or don’t want to snack, I go and brush my teeth or get a mint. This will ruin the taste you are looking for in any food.
I hope this helped you in some way :)
xoxo
Sarah
